Cheat Sheet: How to Create a Gatefold Pocket Wedding Invitation Ensemble

We realized recently that many of you very talented designers may need a little guidance so we wanted to create a super simple guide for putting together custom pocket wedding invitations with TOG.ink products and print services. So a couple of weeks ago, we posted How to Create a Classic Pocket Wedding Invitation. The Classic Pocket is a beautiful choice but it’s not the only choice…

HOW TO CREATE A GATEFOLD POCKET WEDDING INVITATION

The Gatefold Pocket is sleek and sophisticated, a wonderful choice for modern weddings. Just like the Classic Pocket, the Gatefold Pocket uses the same mix of standard and non-standard card sizes. However, the Classic Pocket is available in A7 and A9 sizes while the Gatefold Pocket is available in A7 and A8 sizes. We highly suggest that you Download the Gatefold Pocket Cheat Sheet for your own reference. You can find it and the Classic Pocket Cheat Sheet when you visit Cheat Sheets in the footer of the TOG.ink website. The cheat sheets will help you determine exactly what you need to fill out the ensemble.

WHERE TO FIND WHAT YOU NEED

You can choose to use just a few of the pieces shown in the cheat sheet for a simply elegant look or you can create a sophisticated suite of all the pieces available. Invitation cards, enclosure cards and tab cards can be found when you Shop Flat Cards. Backer cards and pockets can be found when you Shop Paper GoodiesShop Envelopes and you’ll find several print processes are available on envelopes plus you’ll find blank envelopes, of course. If you choose tab cards as your pocket’s finishing touch, remember to save a glue dot for securing the tab card to the pocket so it remains closed.

Be sure to check out the Classic Pocket post to learn even more about pocket wedding invitations. There are some helpful tips to review and we go into more detail about each part of the pocket ensemble.
