We call it enhanced raised foil but in the industry, it’s referred to as Scodix. It’s a three-step UV-based foil printing process. The raised effect is created by a liquid polymer, which is applied and partially cured with UV lights. Then foil is applied and cured under a second set of UV lights. The result is a luminous foil and tactile experience. The best part is that this new specialty print process can be used on any length of print run for an affordable price, making it an awesome addition to our custom print offering.
