2021 Color Trends Inspire Hope

After a year like 2020, it’s no surprise that predicted color trends aim to set a tone for 2021 that’s far different from the feelings this last year has left us with.

Pantone released their Color of the Year, and surprise! It’s actually two colors: PANTONE 17-5104 Ultimate Gray + PANTONE 13-0647 Illuminating. Pantone decided it was important to celebrate duality this year and we couldn’t agree more. Here’s just a bit of what they had to say but we highly recommend visiting Pantone and reading the entire description just for a little pick-me-up!

“Practical and rock solid but at the same time warming and optimistic, the union of PANTONE 17-5104 Ultimate Gray + PANTONE 13-0647 Illuminating is one of strength and positivity. It is a story of color that encapsulates deeper feelings of thoughtfulness with the promise of something sunny and friendly.”

Don’t you think it lends well to a wedding invitation? We thought so!

Benjamin Moore also released its color of the year, and we are so in love. Aegean Teal 2136-40 is incredibly calming and peaceful, two things we certainly didn’t get enough of in 2020. Here’s a little of what they had to say about this meditative color.

“Take a moment to reflect and reset. Intriguing, balanced, and deeply soothing, the Benjamin Moore Color of the Year 2021, Aegean Teal 2136-40, creates a natural harmony”

Such a great color for weddings, hence all the beautiful stationery pictured here. Where do you start?
