Hot Trend Off the Press: Venue Illustrations

A custom wedding invitation suite with watercolor venue painting and stacked enclosures.

Wedding invitations are by far the most popular product we see coming through TOG.ink, and we love it when designers create an extended suite for this very special occasion. This custom wedding invitation ensemble by Alissa Sinagra of Champaperie not only delves into additional enclosures but it also showcases a beautiful venue painting that captures the mood perfectly.

3 Standout Custom Wedding Invitation Features

1. Venue Illustration

The venue painting is soft, elegant, and simply perfect at the top of the wedding invitation. It sets the tone for the whole event and adds an ultra-refined element that reflects the couple’s style and the desired ambiance of the special day. Illustrations are so popular right now! We see them as line art printed in letterpress and foil or as watercolor paintings printed in digital.

2. Stacked Enclosures

Aside from the painting, this ensemble relies on minimalist style with a clean typography layout on all four pieces. The stacked enclosures add an extra element of visual appeal and coordination to the ensemble. The more enclosures, the better—guests want all the details!

3. Testing Die-Cuts

The same Tuscan wedding invitation with the deckle trim option.

Alissa made a smart choice and chose to test out the deckle edge die-cut. Since TOG.ink offers low minimum quantities, you can do this with pretty much any piece of stationery. She chose to stick with the standard square option but being able to see the printed pieces before making that choice is so valuable.

A special thank you to Alissa Sinagra for allowing us to showcase her talent. Check her out on Instagram for some fabulous inspiration!
