Hot Trend Off the Press: Playing with Colors

by

We get extra excited around here when we spot fun color combinations out on the floor, especially if they involve unique foil colors. Today we’re bringing you a couple of great pieces from designer, Walker Carney. Check out the enviable variety of art and products at his store, Prfenstein.

Vibrant foil on bright paper colors

We love Walker’s use of bright paper colors with vibrant foil colors resulting in these outstanding foil thank you cards. It’s refreshing to see this kind of energetic style and positive messaging — a great way to start the new year! (Important Note: Paper color options are subject to change. Please check each product’s paper dropdown for available colors or visit Our Papers for a complete list of paper options across TOG.ink.)

Two things to note:

1. these cards are all foil and they look fantastic. Don’t be afraid of foil-only designs.

2. do you see how the texture of the paper remains after being printed in foil? That’s a sign of quality materials and printing!

Go ahead, play with color

Playing with color is one of the best parts of stationery design, isn’t it? These small but mighty foil thank you cards rock two different foil colors on two different paper colors (masterfully, I might add). You can see all of our foil colors in the Foil Color Cheat Sheet. We encourage you to take advantage of our low minimum quantities and test out some unique foil colors.

I love how a powerful color combo on a petite card can really pack a punch! Not to mention I’m pretty sure “Prints, Goods, Vibes” might be one of my all-time favorite taglines for a business. Plus, how do you not find someone thoroughly delightful when they end their email with:

“Have a rocking week and awesome new year, vibes and respect to the whole team!” – Walker Carney

How about we all make “vibes and respect” our motto for the whole year, shall we? Thanks for the inspiration, Walker! We wish you the best in all of your endeavors.
