Name and Title: Alexandra Burrow – Owner and Designer

Business Name and Location: Sublime & Co. | Temecula, California| https://sublimenco.com/

Years in Business: One year.

What’s your story? In 2020, when the whole world was shut down, I signed up for a coaching program with Cathy Heller meant to help people find their passion and turn it into a business idea. I’ve always loved paper and stationery in general, and I’ve been hoarding boxes of greeting cards for years. Once I figured it out, I ran with the idea and officially launched Sublime & Co. in 2021.

Autumn-themed greeting cards is light pastels with digital printing and gold foil. Our paper delights are meant to empower people to celebrate life’s special moments and everything in between.

Where do you find inspiration? In the little moments in life. Most of the time my greeting cards start with a meaningful message or idea taken from a conversation I’ve had with friends or family. The whimsy design and pastel color palette are later added to paper to create a card that aims to celebrate life, connect hearts and bring extra magic into our daily lives.

What are a few of your favorite blogs or podcasts? When it comes to podcasts I’m all over the place. I listen to Proof to Product for everything business related. I listen to Don’t Keep Your Day Job for inspiration and motivation, and I listen to Office Ladies when I just want to relax and let my brain take a break.

What’s your favorite dessert? I have a massive weakness for pastries and could live off flakey textures and rich, buttery flavors for days.

How do you use TOG.ink? I love using TOG.ink to bring a touch of magic to my greeting cards by adding gold foil details to the full-color printed whimsy designs. A custom Thanksgiving card with autumn leaves and acorns in digital print with fold foil accents.

What do you like most about working with TOG.ink? I love the ability to order low minimums when it comes to foil and letterpress processes. This is very important for me as a small business starting out that wants to stand out in the market and offer a higher quality greeting card. Great customer service has also been another plus, elevating the experience I’ve had with TOG.ink so far.

Any advice for someone just starting out with TOG.ink? Order samples! The best way to truly see the quality of the paper and print services and all the options offered is to order samples before making any decisions. And the low minimums make it so much easier to explore all the print methods offered.
