What’s wrinkled, slightly dramatic, and unexpectedly refined?
This pug. And now… this card.
It started with that face.
Head tilt. Big eyes. Casually posing next to a sunflower like she has somewhere to be.
I took one look and thought:
This deserves more than living on my camera roll.
So I turned it into letterpress.
Not the quick, upload-and-done kind.
The slow, intentional, press-it-into-cotton-paper kind.
Here’s the best part—it’s actually easier than you think to bring your own photos to life like this. I asked an illustrator friend to turn my favorite shot into a simple line drawing… and the second I saw it, I knew it was it.
From there, everything clicked.
Because when you take a pug—
a naturally wrinkled, personality-packed little creature—
and translate it into clean line art, then press it deep into soft cotton paper…
…it gets sophisticated.
Like, unexpectedly so.

Now it’s:
• A letterpress print you can feel, with a deep impression that catches the light (and your attention)
• On 220lb, pearl white thick cotton paper that feels substantial in your hands
• In a classic A2 size (4 1/2 x 5 1/2) using black ink
• Featuring a pug + sunflower moment that somehow lands as both playful and timeless
And the message?
“Pug-get About Your Worries.”
Because now it’s not just a cute dog card.
It’s:
• the thank-you you’ve been meaning to write
• the note that makes someone laugh and keep it
• the everyday card that doesn’t feel like an afterthought
Proof that the right photo, a little intention, and a great print process can turn even the smallest moment into something worth sending—and keeping.
